Who Am II am a teacher at Bentonville High School in Northwest Arkansas. I started my career at Troy High School in Fullerton, California where I also earned my degree in history along with my teaching credential. After three years at THS, our family moved to Bentonville where we have lived since 2001. My career at BHS has been wonderful. I currently teach International Baccalaureate History and United States History. Bentonville High School was recently ranked as the top public school in the state of Arkansas.

My HistoryI am the husband of a very patient wife and father of two lovely daughters. My passion in this world is travel to areas of historical significance. I have led several student/family groups to England, France, Belgium, Germany, and Austria. Our 2016 trip went to Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales.
Military history is the subject that I find most interesting. Escorting students on tours of Normandy, France ranks among my favorite events in my career. I had the honor to host First Lady Laura Bush as a guest in my classroom in 2004. In that same year, I was chosen as the BHS Teacher of the Year. Working with terrific colleagues and fabulous students makes my job a true joy. |
